So. Hi.

 I was introduced to the lovely group of folks that is Dreamwidth at the YAPC 2013 conference in Austin, and got to spent - what, 2 hours? more? chatting with Denise about Dreamwidth and Stuff In General. I also got a little time with some of the other folks at lunch and I have never felt so welcome.

 

Short story shorter, I'm going to be tackling the iOS app and making it into something really nice for us all. I hope to be creating a full-up iPad app as well as an iPhone one, but for right now I'll set my sights low (well, medium-low) and see what I can do to get something going - but definitely  something that will not make everyone who uses it want to chip in to buy me design and coding lessons.

 

I want to have something that's as nice as the Wordpress app for us (and may well take advantage of the fact that they just open-sourced *their* iOS app!).

 

Anyway, lovely to be here, looking forward to meeting everyone.

 

Ooh, yes - I happen to know a very good writing coach/book doctor if anyone's looking for one...
